This summer, Exchange Ilford is teaming up with local schools to spark creativity during the six-week break—and we’re calling on all young storytellers to help us complete the tale of our beloved mascot, Ellie the Elephant! 🐘

Ellie has escaped the shopping centre and is off on an epic journey—but where she goes next is up to your child!

The Challenge:

We’re inviting children aged 5–12 to write a short story about Ellie’s wild adventures as she explores magical lands, meets curious characters, and finds her way back home to Ilford. From wacky mishaps to wonderful discoveries, we want to hear it all—the more imaginative, the better!

The Prize:

One lucky winner will receive:
🎁 £100 shopping voucher for a store of their choice at Exchange Ilford
📚 £200 worth of books for their school!

Step into Ellie’s Magical Woodland, our brand-new free educational space on The Loft, Level 3.

How to Enter:

Once their story is complete, kids can post it in the special storybook postbox on The Loft, Level 3
