Our Ongoing Commitment to the Community

Redbridge Foodbank

We believe that no one in our community should have to face hunger. That’s why we’re proud to support The Trussell Trust’s Redbridge Foodbank by providing a year-round donation point, helping ensure essential food and household items remain available to local people when they need them most.

You can support this important initiative by donating non-perishable food items at our Foodbank Donation Point, located on Level 2, opposite Warren James.

Exchange Ilford Pre-Loved School Uniform Shop

very child should have access to affordable school uniform. Our Pre-Loved School Uniform Shop helps make this possible by giving quality school clothing a second life, ensuring families can access essential uniform at a low cost while helping to reduce textile waste.

The initiative relies on generous donations from our local community. If your children have outgrown their school uniform, we’d love for you to donate it so it can support another family.

Our dedicated School Uniform Donation Station is located on Level 2, where you can drop off clean, good-quality school uniform throughout the year.

Our Rooftop Hives

Our Air Bee ’n’ Bee is currently home to more than 70,000 buzzing residents, working hard throughout the year to support our rooftop ecosystem and produce delicious local honey.

Our honey is harvested, jarred and available to purchase for just £5 from the management suite, with proceeds reinvested into the maintenance of our hives and gardens.

Sunflower Lanyards

we’re committed to creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for every visitor. That’s why we’re proud to support the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower scheme, helping people with non-visible disabilities feel recognised and supported during their visit.

Our Exchange Ilford branded Hidden Disabilities Sunflower lanyards are available to purchase from the Management Suite on Level 5 for just £5.

Produced by the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower organisation, these recognised lanyards are a discreet way for individuals to indicate that they may need a little extra time, patience, or support while visiting the centre.

Every purchase helps us to reinvest in the scheme, allowing us to order more lanyards and keep them readily available and accessible to our community.
