Disabled Facilities

Disabled toilets

Disabled toilets are located on Level 3 next to WH Smith Post Office.  Disabled parking is on Level 2 & 3 only.

Sadly we learnt last week of the death of the Chair of  Disability Redbridge, Virendra Patel. Verdi worked tirelessly for many years with Disability Redbridge, Link Place and Redbridge Adult Social Services. He always, from his own personal experience, supported those with disabilities to have a voice and influence appropriate service provision.

Ilford Shopmobility will close on Thursday 24thMay as a mark of respect. Volunteers will be attending Verdi’s funeral.

Shopmobility is located on Level 1 of the car park and there are two Shopmobility parking spaces on Level 1.

Once you have registered, a member of staff will talk to you about what sort of vehicle you require, and what you will feel comfortable using. Staff at the scheme will then give training. When you feel confident, and the staff are happy that you are in control of the vehicle - off you go! The whole process takes no longer than 30 minutes maximum and in most cases you will be off in about 15 minutes.

Escorts available by appointment only. Long Term loan available on manual wheelchairs only.

We want you to shop in comfort. That's why at The Exchange we pride ourselves on the accessibility and high standards of our toilet facilities. Male, female, disabled and parent room facilities are located on Level 3.
